The Chiaiolella

The tourist marina on the island is Chiaiolella, with a highly equipped marina for nautical pleasure.

PROCIDA CIRACCIO 04From the marina you can enter via Simone Schiano where there is Villa Chiaiozza, built immediately after the war by the English consul M. Wentworty Gurney in neoclassical style; or again towards the heart of Procida along Via Giovanni da Procida and the alternative paths, having Piazza Olmo as a point of reference. From Via Monsignor Domenico Scotto Pagliara you reach the church of Sant'Antonio di Padova from 1635, then along Via IV Novembre you continue towards Punta Pizzàco, where there is the house identified as the home of Graziella di Lamartine. Another stop is the majestic Guarracino palace, former hunting lodge of the Bourbons which dominates Cala del Carbonio.
